Wild Weather
Weather captivates our daily lives, controlling our environment, and filling gaps in conversation. The power of a storm is often associated with thunder and lightning. But, there's also a strong if not threatening beauty that captivates our senses even more in the way it whips up the elements. Hail, flooding rains, ferocious winds and by far the most beautiful cloud formations ever to be experienced that leave lasting impressions.
Wild Places
When we think of Wild places we immediately think of remote wilderness untouched by man, such places are truly wild. But there are places not far from our daily lives where we soak in their wildness. Whether they are national parks in the midst of urbanisation, or a rugged sweep of storm washed coast, they are natural and wild at heart, appealing to our sense of what we perceive as wild.
Intimately Wild
There are places in wilderness and in our modern day urbanised world where nature thrives, but on a smaller scale, a world within a world. Unless brightness of colour or contrast brings them to our senses, such worlds, full of intricate pattern and design, are not easily seen. To see you must slow down, stop, and absorb the subtlety of pattern, shape and form that slowly appears before your eyes.
Naturally Illawarra
The Illawarra abounds in natural beauty and diversity, with grand vistas of escarpment and sea greeting us daily, but there is hidden beauty abounding in the midst of urbanisation that is just as grand and often taken for granted. Such places become a part of our urbanised lifestyle, awaiting discovery as we pass them by almost constantly.
Inhabited Landscapes

Timeless Black & White
Black and White Infrared film has an ethereal quality that lends a timeless almost nostalgic feeling to the bush and those relics and ruins that dot the Australian landscape. They remind us of times past and forgotten, a bygone era where pioneers struggled to survive on an unrelenting land, harsh and beautiful.
